My work inhabits a surreal and intimate place where the inanimate and familiar suggest their own silent and sentient existence.The sculptures raise questions about sexual politics, as well as material complexities within our world. My drawings however represent spontaneous musings on the here and now and lie somewhere within calligraphy, meditation and poetry.Inherent in my work is a vulnerability and a volatility that, in a visual sense, causes it to oscillate between creation and destruction where by I try to keep my interactions minimal or quiet to allow those stories already present to come forward.
