The Last Gallery will take the form of a temporary and reusable structure that can be assembled and disassembled by a small team of 5-6 individuals.
The structure is to be built entirely from reclaimed materials, the most striking feature and significant detail is that the roof and walls are to be transparent.
It is important that once inside a person looks out into and is made aware of, (in a self conscious way), the world. Unlike a conventional gallery space where your view is limited to the interior context of the gallery and rooted to a particular location, the last gallery can move and be responsive to a multitude of sites and contexts and does not exclude or diminish the external influence on the artist-space-viewer-wider world relationship, but exists for it.
